What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Please avoid sandals, heels, and loose or baggy clothing.

Do you serve food or drinks?

We offer snacks and cold non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Yes! Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome.

Do you serve alcohol?

No. The Slice is an unlicensed facility and does not serve alcohol. Guests who appear impaired will not be permitted to throw.

Do you provide catering?

No, but outside catering is welcome.

What can we throw?

We offer beginner hatchets, tournament axes, throwing knives, spikes, and occasional specialty throwing tools.

Do we get our own lane?

Yes. Each lane accommodates up to 6 guests. Larger groups are split as evenly as possible.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available on Souris Avenue, in the lot north of Canada Post, and behind our building during evenings and weekends. A parking map is available on our website. Do not park in the private residence's yard behind our building.

Do I need experience?

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and our coaches will teach you everything you need to know.

How long are sessions?

Choose from 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions.

Do I need a waiver?

Yes. All throwers must complete a digital waiver before participating. Minors must be added by a parent or guardian.

Do I need a deposit?

Yes.

  • Group packages: 20% deposit

  • Smaller bookings: one participant's admission (plus tax)

What's your cancellation policy?

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund

  • Less than 48 hours notice: No refund

  • Private parties: 14 days notice required for deposit refunds

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended.

How do I book?

Book online (preferred), call us, email us, or stop by in person.

How much does it cost?

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, and most major credit cards.

Can kids throw axes?

Absolutely.

  • Under 18: Parent/guardian waiver required

  • Under 16: Parent/guardian waiver required and parent/guardian must remain on-site

All participants must be able to throw safely and under control.

Is axe throwing safe?

Yes. Our lane design, equipment, safety procedures, and trained coaches help create a safe and enjoyable experience.

Can I just watch?

Absolutely. Spectating is free. Games floor access is $10 + tax.

Can I bring my own axe or knife?

Yes, provided it complies with Canadian law and our equipment guidelines. Reach out ahead of time with questions. Please transport your throwing tool in a case or bag.
